What You’ll Do

• This culinary position requires good communication skills as well as at least three years of previous line and fine dining experience.
• A Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling, and pastries.
• The expectation is that this person may be required to give direction in the supervisor's absence.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills.
• 3 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Be fully flexible to rotate within different sub-departments of the culinary division or any other department where assigned.
• Requires moderate supervision and training.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Absorb and implement feedback from supervisors and colleagues.
• Assist in building an efficient team by actively caring for their well-being, safety, and development.

Pay

This position’s hourly rate is $23.51/hr. This role is eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, tips, commissions, service charges, or incentive awards.

Schedule

The position is full-time with hours up to 40 hours/week. The position is also available on weekends and holidays.
