Join the Faith Haven Senior Care Centre team! Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus
• Prepare food in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
• Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done

Pay

• $17.00 - $18.95 per hour based on experience (new rates)
• Hero Pay: additional $0.85 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Morning/Day Shift (First Shift): 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (no late nights)
