About the role
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Converting Operator for the Sibley Plant. The position operates a machine for the efficient and safe production of defect-free SOS and Satchel bottom bags. The operator must ensure that the product meets customer specifications and runs smoothly on their equipment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the machine to maximize production and minimize defects.
- Achieve and maintain product quality within customer specifications.
- Ensure the machine operates smoothly and performs as expected on customer equipment.
- Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Converting Operator.
Requirements
- Experience operating converting machines.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 3rd shift from 11:45 PM to 8 AM (Monday - Friday).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good physical condition to perform the job duties.

Pay
The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 11:45 PM to 8 AM (Monday - Friday).
