CONVERSION HIRE Assembler I (1st - 9/80)
About the role
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full‑time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operation on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies.
- Uses hand and/or power tool.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.
- Cross‑train in other assembly positions.
- Participate and support continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing and/or soldering experience a plus but not required – will be trained.
Pay
Full‑Time Salary Range: $26894 – $45698
