CONVERSION HIRE Assembler I (1st - 9/80)
About the role
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operation on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies. Uses hand and/or power tool. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions. Cross-train in other assembly positions, participate and support continuous improvement activities, perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Schedule
First shift, 9/80 hour position. Work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Prior manufacturing and/or soldering experience a plus but not required – Will be trained.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $26894 – $45698. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
