About the role
Conversion Team members are responsible for changing over the building for various events. This includes laying the basketball floor, exposing and covering the ice surface, setting seating risers, building stages, and other related duties.
Requirements
- Ability to work a varied schedule, primarily overnights (10 PM–6 AM), including weekends and holidays. Availability for double headers on some Saturdays and Sundays (2 PM–6 PM).
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English, and perform job functions under limited supervision.
- Compliance with attendance rules and availability to work on a regular basis.
- Physical ability to perform repeated lifting (up to 25 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, extending arms, stooping, walking, and running for extended periods.
- Ability to carry 50 lbs. unassisted up to 1/3 of the time, and 20 lbs. continuously.
- Capability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and squeezing constantly.
- Ability to twist, bend, squat frequently, and kneel or crawl occasionally.
- Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive, fast-paced operations.
- Ability to work in warm or cold environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid forklift certification.
Pay
$22.60 per hour.
