Laborer - Overnight Conversion Crew | Part-Time | UBS Arena

Responsibilities

• Operate and convert UBS Arena from event to event.
• Reconfigure the arena, its floor, and concourses based on specific event needs.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Conversion or change-over experience required.
• Must have the ability to read and write in a working environment.
• Ability to perform in crisis and work under pressure without losing composure.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, lift up to 75 lbs, reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.
• Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality.

About the Venue

UBS Arena at Belmont Park is a premier entertainment and sports venue, developed in partnership with Oak View Group, the New York Islanders, and Jeff Wilpon. It opened in November 2021 and has hosted numerous top artists, including Harry Styles, Sebastian Maniscalco, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, TWICE, Eagles, John Mayer, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone. The venue is known for its clear sightlines and premier acoustics, and it was awarded LEED Green Building Certification in January 2023 and achieved carbon neutrality for operations in Fall 2022.

Benefits

As per the Union Agreement, the position pays an hourly rate of $23.75.
