Convention Services Set up

About the role

The Convention Services Setup team is responsible for setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for meetings, banquets, or resort activities. Basic audio-visual skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Setting up meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.)
• Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc.
• Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane and stairway area to tunnel
• Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience working successfully with a team, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail
• Able to frequently stand, walk, lift and/or move 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds; and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
