Convention Services - Set-Up Crew

Job Summary

The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while providing exceptional service to guests and team members. This role supports the banquet team, conference manager team, and other hotel departments by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning for meetings and events.

What You Will Be Doing

• Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all functions, including breakfasts, dinners, exhibits, tradeshows, auctions, etc.
• Refresh function rooms during meals and breaks.
• Move carts of convention equipment to/from storage areas.
• Interact and service customer needs (internal and external).
• Clean function space, banquet space, and storage areas, keeping all areas clean and orderly.
• Report major cleaning and repair needs daily.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles, operating all equipment as intended.
• Anticipate and respond to guests' needs promptly and courteously.
• Follow through on supervisor and manager instructions.
• Be familiar with and respond accurately to guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
• Monitor and report the condition of the property.
• Assist other departments as needed.

• Valid Driver’s License required due to potential transportation of equipment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
