About the role
The Capacity Delivery Team at Fluidstack is looking for individuals who can lead controls engineering across the portfolio. This includes setting the controls reference design, architecture, points standards, and sequences, ensuring a standard across every site. The ideal candidate will own the controls interface to commissioning automation, driving faster testing at each site.
Responsibilities
- Own controls engineering across the portfolio: BMS, EPMS, and the integration layer between them.
- Drive controls contractors and integrators to the standard set by the reference design.
- Review programming before it reaches commissioning to ensure compliance.
- Own the controls interface to commissioning automation, ensuring Level 4 and 5 testing progresses faster at each site.
Requirements
- Led controls engineering for mission critical or industrial facilities.
- Wrote or owned sequences of operations for complex plants.
- Standardized controls across multiple sites and ensured integrators complied.
- Prevented common issues such as points lists, graphics, and alarm floods.
- Bonus: Experience with Niagara or Ignition. EPMS platforms. Controls cybersecurity. Commissioning automation.
Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Proven track record in leading controls engineering teams.
- Experience in writing or owning sequences of operations for complex plants.
- Strong background in standardizing controls across multiple sites.
- Experience in preventing common issues like points lists, graphics, and alarm floods.
- Bonus: Experience with Niagara or Ignition. EPMS platforms. Controls cybersecurity. Commissioning automation.
