Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Controls Engineer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $45.00 - $59.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Responsibilities Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions.Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor and facilitating kanban process.Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.Install, set-up, and troubleshoot ToyoPuc and Allen-Bradley, etc. program controllers.Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment.Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production Members. Qualifications Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting (ToyoPuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley) – 4+ years.Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs – 6+ years.Comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits and industrial controls – 4+ years.2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.Ability to travel up to 20% at times (including international travel).Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally.Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch on varying surfaces.Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams.
