About the role
Sentry Equipment, a subsidiary of ProMach’s Systems business, seeks a Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for our Conveyor Systems and Automated Machines.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed electrical sensor layouts
- Generate electrical schematics for conveyor systems and other machines
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices using Rockwell software
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Controls or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Five (5) or more years of experience in a similar or related role
- Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical control systems
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (primarily Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMIs
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of control systems, electrical engineering principles
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation
- Able to travel up to 35% for start-ups and/or service items

- Base salary range: $87,500-$150,000
