Controls Engineer

Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include the design, specification, and implementation of safe and efficient manufacturing processes, including machine guarding and controls, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and process documentation. Includes collection and analysis of manufacturing data to implement process improvements that improve safety, production quality, customer deliver, and cost reductions. In This Role You Will Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data and key performance metrics to identify process bottlenecks, guide improvement activities, and support data driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing operations. Minimum of three (3) years of PLC experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing operations. PLC experience, preferably Allen Bradley. Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and/or RCM principles. Experience with Keyence and Cognex vision. Experience with PLC programming, control panel/electrical and mechanical power press and stamping knowledge.
