Controls Engineer | Hybrid Opportunity Join a growing automation team where you'll work directly alongside an Advanced level Controls Engineer on projects that improve manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. This role offers a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility to work remotely while staying engaged with hands-on controls, automation, and plant support activities. What You'll Do Support PLC, HMI, and SCADA automation projects from design through commissioningDevelop and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA applications, reporting, and controls systemsDiagnose and resolve production issues while driving continuous process improvementsCollaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams on automation initiativesGain exposure to full project lifecycles and modern industrial control technologies What We're Looking For 2-5 years of industrial automation or controls engineering experienceExperience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platformsFamiliarity with Ignition SCADA and industrial manufacturing environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematicsEagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing project responsibility Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arbuckle, CA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
