Controller Manufacturing

About the role

Maintain and enhance financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, GL month end close, financial statements preparation, cost accounting, inventory management, and external/interal audit support. Manage staff and ensure accurate record-keeping, corrections, adjustments, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, strategy finance, P&L, cash flow modeling, business case analysis
• Prepare financial statements, AP, AR, Bank Recs, cash flow
• Cost Accounting, Inventory, manufacturing variances, manage staff
• Manager accounting functions with respect to general ledger accounting, financial statements and account analysis
• Analyze schedules, financial statement highlights, ensure account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments are calculated, and journal entries are prepared
• Review and prepare month/year end reports, accrual schedules, and ad-hoc reports and analysis
• Affiliate with external and internal audits, work with outside CPA firm
• Maintain Accounting files and inventory and costing, strong ERP Systems, QuickBooks, ORACLE/SAP

Requirements

• Mix of Finance and Accounting
