About the Role

We provide comprehensive, innovative, and compassionate integrated care throughout each patient's journey. This role advises leadership on financial management across a multi-site, single-market organization, overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, general and cost accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Maximize return and limit risk on cash by minimizing cash balances and making investments.
• Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching legislation, consulting with advisors, and filing financial reports.
• Advise management of actions and potential risks.
• Arrange for audits as required.
• Manage budget and control expenses effectively.
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively; take corrective action as necessary.
• Consult with Human Resources as appropriate.
• Stay updated on information and technology affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
• Supervise assigned Accounting and accounting support staff.
• Perform all other duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum seven years of experience in fiscal management.
• Three years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• CPA or CMPE certification preferred.

Physical Abilities

• Regularly: sit, grasp, reach, talk, or hear.
• Occasionally: lift, pull, push, or carry up to 40 pounds; bend and stoop/crouch.
• Vision: clearly see up to 5 feet with or without corrective lenses.

Pay

$124,368 - $174,116 (DOE)
