About the role
The Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting processes, including preparation of financial statements and internal controls.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, including tax filings and audits.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skills
- Financial analysis and reporting.
- Accounting software proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Pay
