Controller

About the role

The Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting processes, including preparation of financial statements and internal controls.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, including tax filings and audits.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
