Controller

About the role

This role is onsite and will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury activities, and financial controls across multiple business entities. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys balancing day-to-day financial operations with strategic business support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury activities, and financial controls across multiple business entities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements across multiple entities
• Lead accounting teams and oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general accounting functions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Build strong financial processes while supporting a growing and dynamic organization

Requirements

• Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting and financial management experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
• Strong experience managing month-end and year-end close processes
• Experience leading accounting teams and overseeing AP, AR, and general accounting functions

Preferred

• Experience within entertainment, hospitality, sports, events, or other consumer-facing industries
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Experience with cash management, treasury functions, and banking relationships
• Strong knowledge of accounting controls, compliance, and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting systems
