Job Details

• Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coinciding and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances once finalized.
  • Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Conducting timely and detailed reviews of all financial reports and ensuring they comply with GAAP.
  • Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of our company.
• Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA certification being highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an accounting leadership role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with experience in creating financial statements.
  • Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year-end close process, and forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong skills in variance analysis and logistics management.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Job Details

• Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 per year
