Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and quickly identify urgent care needs
• Initiate and manage nursing interventions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient status and response to care
• Respond effectively to critical situations, including cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, timely care
• Provide clear, compassionate education and support to patients and families during high-stress situations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact license, if applicable)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS certification required
