About the role

Fantastic opportunity available for a Division Retail/Truck Controller at All Roads in Baltimore, MD. If you have previous automotive or truck dealership experience, are detail oriented, and have amazing Excel skills, we want to talk to you! This role is responsible for preparing of month-end journal entries and reconciliation, preparing and reviewing monthly financial reporting, managing fixed asset reporting and preparing for external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various month-end journal entries to assist in the financial close and reporting process
• Reconcile balance sheet each month to ensure accuracy
• Fixed asset tracking/depreciation analysis
• Analyze account information and General Ledger accounts
• Financial audit preparation and cooperation with audit process/external auditors on an annual basis
• Ensure proper revenue and expenses are recognized in accordance with GAAP
• Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closes
• Interact with various departments for ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Prior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Compensation and Schedule

Full time Monday - Friday with flexible start time. $100k+ based on experience
