Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Controller to lead the fiscal operations at HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital. Key responsibilities include maintaining financial controls, administering accounting practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper financial controls to ensure reliable and accurate financial reporting and integrity of financial services and applications.
• Formulate and administer general accounting practices in adherence with corporate accounting policy (APG) and internal audit guidelines.
• Interpret data, and prepare financial analyses of operations.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality services by maintaining appropriate staffing levels, resources, training, and education of staff.
• Apply the principles of continuous quality improvement in delivery of services, through assessment and monitoring of financial processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbane-Oxley, JCAHO, legal and all regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and reports trends in occurrences to staff quarterly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business field (focus in Accounting/Finance, preferred)
• Three to five years in hospital fiscal services
• Three years at supervisory level
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to cross collaborate with internal accounting groups and multiple departments
• AI experience preferred or willingness to adapt and learn
