Texoma Medical Center (TMC) in Denison, TX, is an acute care hospital with a medical staff of over 200 physicians and multiple locations throughout the Texoma region. TMC offers major specialty services, including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, and serves as a regional specialty center with advanced resources such as certified trauma care. Since 1965, TMC has provided sophisticated, experienced care to residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct oversight of the finance department, including General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Decision Support staff.
- Interact with all hospital departments to ensure proper utilization and accounting of capital and operating resources in accordance with corporate and hospital financial policies.
- Actively participate in and potentially oversee components of the Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain, including:
- Business Office
- Care Management
- Health Information Management
- Clinical Documentation Improvement
- Materials Management/Supply Chain
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience coordinating and/or supervising acute care hospital/medical center finance staff (Accounts Payable, Decision Support, General Ledger, and Payroll).
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software.
- Completion of required training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- CPA (preferred).
