Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures
- Mount electrical components including breakers, relays, PLCs, power supplies, VFDs, and terminal blocks
- Perform point-to-point wiring based on electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Label wires, devices, and components per standards
- Ensure neat, organized, and professional panel builds
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Verify proper component placement and wiring connection
- Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing
- Inspect completed panels for accuracy and quality
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (UL, NEC, customer specs)
- Absorb troubleshooting wiring issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations
Requirements
- 1–3 years of electrical assembly or panel wiring experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics required
- Familiarity with industrial control components (PLCs, VFDs, relays) preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for detailed wiring work
- Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment
- Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions
Qualifications
Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20/hr. to $30/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
