Contracts Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Contracts Specialist to support a large DOD program in Ballston, VA. This position requires at least a Secret clearance (can hold TS) and is located in Arlington, VA with a hybrid schedule (1 day onsite).

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in the Department of Defense Research & Development (FAR Part 35) contracts administration process
• Skillfully prepare and administer terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to our national security objectives
• Collaborate in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs and evaluating pricing strategies
• Craft contract modifications with precision and proficiency
• Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Meticulously prepare and maintain essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of cradle to grave administration of government contracts
• Proficiency in administering all contract types including FFP, CPFF, T&M, grants, and OTAs
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field
• Secret or Top Secret clearance

Pay

Annual salary: $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience
