The Legal Team

The Legal Team is working on key problems such as building the legal and compliance function from zero for the largest compute buildout in history, making legal a source of speed, and covering the entire legal surface with a lean team.

• Making legal a source of speed, structuring and closing complex deals in weeks that typically take quarters.
• Covering the entire legal surface with a lean team, owning everything and inventing solutions with the business team.

Role Scope

The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements behind Fluidstack's data center buildout, building scalable contracting and compliance frameworks, and partnering with legal, finance, and business teams to drive agreements from request to signature.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Building scalable contracting and compliance frameworks.
• Partnering with legal, finance, and business teams to drive agreements.
• Running multiple contract workstreams in parallel under tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has experience drafting and negotiating terms across a broad range of standard commercial contracts, can read and interpret complex contractual language quickly and accurately, and can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review.

Key qualifications include:

• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to read and interpret complex contractual language.
• Experience using AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review.
• Ability to run multiple projects at once under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Bonus experience includes data centers and related infrastructure, negotiating inbound technology licensing and procurement contracts, and implementing scalable contracting and compliance frameworks.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $170K - $204K.
