Contracts Management (HYBRID TELEWORK)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree or Juris Doctor.
- Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout
- Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts
- Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Job Description
The Contracts Management representative will work within the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Systems (REAS) Market Segment. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment managing contracts, negotiating directly with U.S. Government customers and interacting with their respective programmatic teams. They will review customer requests for proposals and offer alternate approaches to mitigate risks involving schedule, cost, specifications, etc. The Contracts Management representative will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to execute the required actions on time. The Contracts Management representative will ensure contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. They will communicate and present to internal and external customers.

- Prior experience with USG cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis is desired
- Some experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and a willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA)
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Positivity and enthusiasm attitude; working collaboratively within teams
- Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action
- Knowledge of Government property management, data rights, and proposals
- Complete understanding and application of Government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards

Remote Telework
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
