How You’ll Work

Based primarily at the Corporate Headquarters office in south Austin, TX.

Monday-Friday hybrid schedule, up to 2 days per week remote.

Must be located in the Austin, TX metro area.

What You'll Do

As Contracts Administrator

  • Contract Administration and Compliance Support
  • Aid in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of federal government contracts and subcontracts, taking guidance from the Senior Contracts Manager and other Contracts Managers.
  • Review and analyze contract terms and conditions for required supporting documentation, potential risk, and consistency with established processes, escalating questions or discrepancies to the appropriate Contracts Manager.
  • Perform administrative and coordination tasks related to acquisition planning, contract startups, ongoing contract administration, and contract closeout as assigned.
  • Documentation and Team Communication
  • Attend contract kickoffs and other meetings throughout the contract lifecycle to coordinate action items across the Contracts team.
  • Cook with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and project management teams, to gather information needed for contract administration, reporting, audits, modifications, and customer requests.
  • Aid in the preparation of required reports and documentation to government agencies, ensuring materials are accurate, complete, and routed for appropriate review and approval.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and organized contract and subcontract files, including awards, modifications, correspondence, deliverables, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor contract performance and follow up on outstanding deliverables, billing questions, customer notices, subcontract matters, and compliance documentation.

CLM System Project Coordination

  • Serve as a primary project coordinator for Cobblestone Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, supporting system setup, maintenance, and day-to-day use.
  • Coordinate Cobblestone rollout activities for new sites, including tracking project tasks, gathering required contract data and documents, and following up on site needs.
  • Help maintain Cobblestone as a centralized repository for contract data, templates, agreements, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the development and automation of contract templates and agreements within Cobblestone to improve consistency and efficiency.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in federal or state government service contract administration required.
  • Basic familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting processes required, with the ability to recognize when additional guidance or review is needed.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of Cobblestone CLM software preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Possess high integrity and honesty.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
  • May need to have the ability to legally drive a company vehicle.
  • Travel may be required, up to 25%.
