This role serves as a key business partner to internal stakeholders by reviewing, drafting, negotiating, monitoring, and managing contracts while identifying and mitigating contractual risks. The Contracts Administrator supports strategic business growth by improving contract processes, maintaining contract governance standards, and ensuring efficient execution and administration of commercial, government, subcontractor, and vendor agreements. Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions: Administer the complete contract lifecycle from pre-award activities through closeout, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policiesDraft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial, government, subcontractor, consultant, and vendor agreementsAnalyze contract terms and conditions to identify risks, obligations, compliance requirements, and business impactsPartner with legal counsel and business leaders to resolve contractual issues and negotiate acceptable termsMaintain contract records, files, amendments, certifications, and supporting documentation within contract management systemsMonitor contract performance milestones, deliverables, reporting requirements, option years, renewals, and contract modificationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations and applicable contractual requirementsReview Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Sources Sought notices, and solicitation amendmentsSupport proposal development activities by reviewing compliance requirements and contractual provisionsCoordinate execution of non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, and consulting agreementsTrack and manage certificates of insurance, business registrations, representations and certifications, and organizational qualifications required for contract performanceDevelop and maintain internal contract administration procedures, templates, and best practicesProvide contract guidance and training to internal stakeholders, project managers, and operational teamsMonitor subcontractor and vendor compliance with contractual requirementsAssist with audits, contract reviews, compliance assessments, and document requestsPrepare reports and metrics related to contract status, obligations, modifications, and performanceSupport emergency management consulting operations and client engagements as requiredPerform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of contract administration principles and contract lifecycle managementAbility to review, interpret, and negotiate contract terms and conditionsKnowledge of commercial contracting and government contracting processesUnderstanding of contract risk assessment and mitigation strategiesFamiliarity with FAR, DFARS, and state/local procurement regulations preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional correspondence and contract documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments Supervisory Responsibilities: May have lead responsibilities within projects or small teams depending on function with senior level support. Expected Hours of Work: Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount. Requirements Experience/Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field3-5 years of experience in legal support, grants administration, or government contracting3-5 years of experience managing contracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial and/or government contracts3-5 years of experience supporting negotiations and contract modificationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management databases Experience/Education Preferred: Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or related certificationExperience working with federal, state, or local government contractsExperience within emergency management, disaster recovery, consulting, engineering, or professional services industriesKnowledge of FAR, Uniform Guidance, FEMA programs, grants management, and compliance requirementsMaster's degree, MBA, Paralegal, or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred5+ years of progressively responsible contract administration experience Additional Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or olderEligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required.
