Contractor Trainer

About the role

This position serves as a Contractor Trainer for Anvaya Solutions, Inc., located at PO Box 1810, Mail Stop Y18, Rancho Cordova, CA.

Responsibilities

- Lead training for large-scale IT projects. - Deliver training using various methods (in person, web-based, multimedia). - Evaluate IBM's Z/OS mainframe usage data for System Management Facility (SMF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Removable Media Manager (RMM) Tape, Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD) and Adaptable Database System (ADABAS). - Work on-site in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Vacaville, and San Jose, CA.

Requirements

- Minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years leading training for large-scale IT projects. - Experience in multiple training delivery methods (in person, web-based, multimedia).

Desirable Qualifications

- Knowledge and experience of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and SAS MXG (Merrill’s Expanded Guide) used to extract transform and load existing service usage data from source/mainframe systems. - Knowledge and experience evaluating IBM’s Z/OS mainframe usage data for System Management Facility (SMF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Removable Media Manager (RMM) Tape, Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD) and Adaptable Database System (ADABAS). Knowledge of IBM mainframe operating systems and components including Job Control Language (JCL) and Tivoli Usage and Accounting Manager (TUAM). - Knowledge and experience within data center services and related technologies, including networking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
