About the role
The Contractor In Charge (CIC) is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage team members and contractors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Prepare and present project reports and progress updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Construction industry knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
