Responsibilities
- Commission, program, set up graphics, establish communications links, perform end-to-end testing, troubleshoot, and service assigned projects.
- Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation, and job close-out requirements.
- Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
- Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
- Enforce safety standards, maintain security, and account for company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
- Demonstrate teamwork and dedication by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require, including occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical School or formal training is preferred.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld devices (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
- A valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations, including but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions/preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
- Previous experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems is preferred.
Pay
Hourly base pay range: $16.64 - $40.77. Compensation is hourly and may vary based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
