Contracted Direct Care Worker

About the role

Mosaic is seeking Direct Care Workers to contract with us, providing support to individuals in their homes and communities. This role allows you to coordinate visits based on the needs of the individuals you serve and your own availability, offering flexibility to build a schedule that fits your lifestyle. You can provide services in small groups or one-on-one, with the ability to manage multiple visits per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and household care
• Support educational assistance and decision-making
• Facilitate community integration and interaction
• Build independence and social skills
• Help with meal planning and preparation
• Manage medication administration
• Provide transportation to appointments or social activities
• Follow a support plan to ensure consistent and appropriate care

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to a laptop or tablet
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Patience, compassion, and excellent interpersonal skills

Pay

Compensation starts at a minimum of $17.80 per hour, with potential to earn more based on the funding level of the individuals you support.
