Position Summary

The Human Resources Recruiter provides services contributing to aggressive business goals. This is a temporary position with potential for permanency based on business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid in the recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, references, background checks, and onboarding to meet corporate goals.
  • Manage the employment lifecycle: onboarding, policies, benefits, payroll, training, development, exit procedures, and unemployment.
  • Determine and recommend recruiting policies and practices to strengthen the hiring process.
  • Audit applicant and employee files for compliance.
  • Initiate background and conflict of interest checks to ensure candidate eligibility.
  • Create and maintain promotional materials.
  • Communicate with candidates, provide feedback, negotiate offers, and act as a point of contact.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and post-orientation follow-up.
  • Create and maintain employee records in HRIS database.
  • Generate reports and analyze data.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, printing, scanning, emailing, and copying.
  • Support the efficient operation of the HR department.
  • Work with all levels of management.
  • Adhere to ConServe's Blueprint Quality Management System, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
  • Handle communication and other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Strategic Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred

Skills & Requirements

  • Talent Acquisition/Recruitment background with broad knowledge of employment labor law, sourcing talent, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, affirmative action plans, training, and development.
  • One (1) year HR Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, persuade, and negotiate.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a timely and effective manner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel and professionally represent ConServe at job fairs, conferences, events, and in the general community.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Sit or remain sedentary for up to 8 hours per day, except for periodic breaks pursuant to applicable law.
  • Talk and listen on the phone or in person for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Type on a computer for extended periods.
  • Stand up to 8 hours per day except for periodic breaks pursuant to applicable law.
  • Drive.
