As a Lead Business Operations/Contracts Supervisor, you will oversee the team responsible for providing administrative and vendor contract support to the department. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the client’s relationship with their business partners, sub-contractors, and vendors. This role is hybrid with three days in office and two days working from home. Some travel may be required within a specific region.
Responsibilities
- Set the team goals for performance and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision.
- Train and lead contract support associates and other team members.
- Create and review vendor contracts for eligibility and service level agreements.
- Create RFPs (Request for Proposals) and solicit contract bids for projects, resources, maintenance, and services.
- Monitor contract support associate team members' productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Organize and schedule team members' work responsibilities and ensure that employees understand their delegated tasks and duties.
- Announce important information from upper management to employees.
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
- Review and approve timecards.
- Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
- Verify adherence to legal and company policies and procedures.
- Complete disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
- Work to build consensus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Prior management or supervisor experience is needed.
- In-depth understanding of Vendor programs, processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Coupa/MyBuy, JDEdwards, and Purchasing programs is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
- Exceptional math skills; ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Pay
The minimum salary for this position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
