Contract Recruiting Coordinator

We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our Recruiting & Staffing team. This position is based in Charleston, SC, with remote work arrangements available. This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time, permanent role based on business needs and individual performance.

What You'll Do
- Cook up interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and internal recruiting teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Aid Talent Managers with scheduling, offer preparation, onboarding activities, and other recruiting administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting platforms
- Post job opportunities across multiple job boards and social media platforms
- Monitor recruiting pipelines and assist with candidate status updates and follow-up communications
- Conduct reference checks, background screening coordination, and pre-employment activities as needed
- Support sourcing initiatives by identifying potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and internal databases
- Prepare recruiting reports and assist leadership with recruiting metrics and pipeline tracking
- Ensure recruiting documentation remains accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Partner closely with Talent Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and leadership to support hiring priorities and business objectives
- Absorb special recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition support, HR, staffing, or an administrative role
- Experience scheduling interviews and supporting multiple recruiters simultaneously
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience supporting recruiting efforts within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or corporate environments is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
