Job Title: Contract Recruiter Location: Chicago, IL Industry: Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Compensation: $30–$35 per hour Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). The company offers a collaborative environment and is seeking an experienced recruiter who can quickly build relationships and support a high volume of specialized hiring needs. Job Description: The Contract Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio of technical and professional openings. This individual will partner closely with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, develop effective search strategies, engage qualified candidates, and guide each search from initial sourcing through offer acceptance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the complete recruitment process for technical, engineering, sales, and corporate positionsPartner with hiring managers to define position requirements, hiring priorities, and candidate profilesDevelop targeted sourcing strategies to identify specialized and hard-to-find talentReview applications and conduct initial candidate interviewsCoordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholdersGather and organize interview feedback to keep hiring decisions moving forwardSupport offer development by providing insight regarding compensation, start dates, and other relevant considerationsCreate and refine job postings that clearly communicate position requirementsDeliver a responsive and positive experience throughout the candidate journeyRepresent the organization’s employment opportunities in an engaging and professional mannerMaintain recruiting practices that align with applicable employment laws and company policies Qualifications: Five or more years of experience managing full-cycle recruitmentPrevious success recruiting for technical and professional positionsExperience sourcing engineering and sales talentCorporate recruiting experience is strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related area, or equivalent professional experienceStrong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement capabilitiesExperience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systemsExcellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skillsAbility to communicate confidently with candidates and hiring leadersOrganized and self-directed, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing prioritiesWorking knowledge of recruiting regulations and hiring best practicesProficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable business applications Additional Details: Contract length: Approximately three to four monthsStart date: As soon as possibleWorkweek: 40 hoursDress code: Business casualThe recruiter will support approximately 17 active openingsCurrent searches include engineering, research and development, hardware, firmware, technical sales, account management, purchasing, and maintenance positions Perks: Hybrid work arrangementBroad exposure to highly specialized technical and professional searchesOpportunity to take ownership of a meaningful active requisition portfolioCollaborative partnership with hiring managers and the People and Culture team Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
