Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Economics, Public Relations, or related field
- Two years of experience in public sector procurement
- Or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- State or National Procurement Certification is highly preferred
- The individual must be able to manage multiple projects/tasks in a high-volume work environment and have the ability to meet required deadlines to ensure continuity of County operations
- Exceptional and professional customer service skills are imperative
- Ability to use a variety of information technology systems to perform daily tasks
- Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required
Responsibilities
- Manages the overall contract administration process for assigned commodities
- Includes coordination of contract kick-off meetings, communication with assigned department contract managers as well as suppliers, education of stakeholders on key contract terms and appropriate utilization, monitoring of performance, resolution of non-performance, cure and termination as necessary
- This position will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and processing renewals, amendments, and modifications to existing contracts in a timely manner
- Perform other work as required
