About the role
The Contract Monitor Analyst oversees the monitoring and evaluation of contractual agreements to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational standards. This role serves as the subject matter expert in contractual requirements for both the agency's internal provider and external providers. Responsibilities include detailed analysis of contract terms, conditions, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy, legality, and alignment with organizational policies. The Contract Monitor Analyst integrates contract management, auditing, and coordination to identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in Business, Legal, Administration, Healthcare, or a closely related field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or Healthcare Administration
- Substitution: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, including a High School Diploma/GED with a Paralegal Certificate and 2 years’ experience in a legal, compliance, or administrative environment
- Up to two (2) years of relevant experience in contract development and negotiation, financial oversight, compliance monitoring, auditing, legal matters, data-driven project or program management, or evaluation of program or project performance
- Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
- No supervisory experience required
