Contract Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze reimbursement structures, model financial impacts, and maintain contract data to help ensure optimal payer performance and compliance.
• Support annual UCR (Usual, Customary, and Reasonable) fee increase initiatives through data modeling and analysis.
• Develop and maintain routine and ad hoc reports to support business decisions.
• Maintain and update contract information within the contract management database.
• Research and resolve claims discrepancies and fee-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as NADG policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience (7-9 years directly related).
• 2-3 years of experience in payer relations, provider relations, or financial/contract analysis within a healthcare environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required).
• Strong understanding of performance metrics and reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to translate data into insights.
• Dental or health insurance experience (preferred, not required).
• Familiarity with procedural coding systems as they relate to payer contracting (preferred, not required).
