About the role

The (Contract) Marketing Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing and business solutions team at Kymanox. This position involves developing, managing, and optimizing digital marketing systems within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Salesforce CRM, and WordPress. The role also includes building and maintaining websites, integrating various technologies, and ensuring seamless data flow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimize marketing automation programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, including email templates, landing pages, forms, automation rules, engagement programs, segmentation lists, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Support Salesforce CRM configuration and data alignment related to marketing campaigns, lead routing, campaign attribution, lifecycle stages, reporting, and sales handoff processes.
  • Build and maintain WordPress website pages, campaign landing pages, forms, integrations, plug-ins, and user experiences that support marketing initiatives and conversion goals and build SEO.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and deliver enhancements that improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor campaign and system performance, ensuring proper integration and data flow among the marketing technology tools.
  • Stay current on Salesforce, Account Engagement, WordPress, and digital marketing technology updates, proactively recommending improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in marketing technology, marketing automation, web development, CRM administration, SEO, or a related technical marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, including campaign setup, automation, forms, landing pages, list management, scoring, grading, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including leads, contacts, campaigns, reports, dashboards, data fields, and sales and marketing alignment processes.
  • Experience building and maintaining WordPress websites, including page updates, theme or template customization, plug-in management, forms, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, lead generation, digital campaign execution, data quality, and conversion optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce or Account Engagement certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Account Engagement Specialist, Salesforce Certified Account Engagement Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, or related credentials.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, campaign attribution, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO tools, or reporting dashboards.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing, professional services, life sciences, healthcare, technology, or other complex sales environments.
  • Familiarity with UX principles, accessibility standards, website performance optimization, and content management workflows.
  • Experience with integrations between Salesforce, Account Engagement, WordPress, webinar platforms, event tools, data enrichment platforms, or other marketing technology systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any Engineering discipline (prefer Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering) or other STEM discipline (Biology, Chemistry, other) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
  • Resourceful, extremely detail-oriented, able to work effectively with remote team members, highly organized, self-directed, self-paced, excellent written and oral English communication skills, understands own limitations, fast learner, pleasant and positive communication style, strong customer-service aptitude, able to motivate self, team members, and direct reports, high energy level, excellent problem-solving skills, seasoned soft skills (high EQ), team player.

Pay

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other intangibles evident during the interview process – as well as market conditions.
