Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Hands on technical architect
  • Develop, configure, and maintain SFMC journeys, automations, and personalized campaign assets
  • Create advanced segmentation, data extensions, and SQL-driven processes for efficient audience targeting
  • Create drag and drop templates based on email best practices
  • Implement AMPScript and server-side scripting for dynamic content and enhanced campaign functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SFMC components
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions
  • Support API integrations to enable data sync, event triggers, and real-time personalization
  • End-to-end ownership of data flows into SFMC including CRM and other platform integrations. Ensure data accuracy, deliverability, governance, and platform best practices
  • Partner with an external vendor to divide responsibilities as needed and drive results. Intent to reduce vendor dependency through internal ownership
  • Provide support for reporting and data analysis

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with Data360 (DataCloud) and MCE Next
  • Experience with Agentforce
  • Proficiency with key SFMC components such as Automation Studio, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio (Personalization), Contact Builder, and Data Extensions
  • Experience writing SQL queries and AMPScript for personalization and automation
  • Familiarity with API integrations between SFMC and external systems
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Developer) are required
  • Experience partnering with marketing teams or supporting marketing operations preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
