Contract-LVN-4N Ortho/Med-surg

About the role
This is a 13-week travel RN assignment in the Ortho unit, with a shift of 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, including two major holidays. All travelers are required to float; please review the Methodist Floating Policy during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for total knee/hip replacement patients.
- Perform minimal wound care.
- Adhere to the hospital’s floating policy as a travel RN.
Requirements
- Active RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted).
- At least 2+ years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
- Experience with Meditech (required; candidates without this skill will not be considered).
- Specialty/Unit certifications as required for the role.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with total knee/hip replacement procedures.
- Advanced wound care or other specialty skills (candidates with these skills will be prioritized).
Dress Code
- Navy scrub top and pants, or a navy/white scrub jacket.
- Hair must be neat, clean, and free of extreme styles or colors.
- Facial hair (beards, mustaches, sideburns) must be clean and neatly trimmed.
- Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos will be addressed individually.
- Visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited.
