About the role

The primary focus of this role is to support Strategic Sourcing through project management, vendor relationship management, contract management, and reporting & documentation. You will represent the Strategic Sourcing department, develop RFPs and KPIs to enhance reporting and project management, and manage contract lifecycles. You will also collect data from suppliers, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Represent Strategic Sourcing department and assist with developing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Manage contract lifecycles and assist with and/or create and validate supplier contracts, amendments, and new vendor set-up documentation
• Ensure on-time execution of projects by collaborating with Suppliers, Operations, Clinical, and Supply Chain teams
• Prepare and produce reports such as vendor spend, rebate performance, contract expiration, and supplier scorecards
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal team members as well as suppliers
• Collect data from suppliers as needed to prepare reports and track KPIs
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on projects & initiatives as needed
• Aid in resolving supplier issues
• Conduct research on suppliers and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and quality

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
