Contract Epic Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the planning and execution of the Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) for Epic implementation.
• Management of the deployment and configuration of End User Devices (EUD), ensuring compatibility with Epic systems.
• Closely working with IT teams to troubleshoot any technical issues encountered during rehearsals and device deployment.
• Coordination with clinical and operational teams to ensure all devices are tested and ready for use during go-live.
• Providing technical support and leadership during go-live to ensure system stability and readiness.
• Development and execution of contingency plans for potential technical issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on healthcare system implementations.
• Experience managing Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and End User Device (EUD) deployment in an Epic environment.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and device management for healthcare systems.
• Prioritization of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration between IT and clinical teams.
