Contract Endodontist One Day Per Week

About the role

Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract Endodontist to provide specialty dental services at our Tropicana location in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Endodontist looking to supplement their existing practice or professional schedule with a consistent, one-day-per-week opportunity. Our established dental network provides access to patients in need of specialty care, along with experienced clinical and administrative support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Position type: Independent Contractor (1099). Schedule: one day per week with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
• Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with referring general dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow applicable infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality specialty care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate specialty program in Endodontics.
• Active, unrestricted Nevada dental license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Professional liability insurance meeting contractual requirements.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and support staff.

Pay

Competitive independent contractor compensation, with terms based on experience and mutually agreed-upon contractual arrangements. This is an independent contractor opportunity and does not include traditional employee benefits.
