Travel Special Procedure Technician - per week
About the Role
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Special Procedure Technician for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is within the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix, a Magnet facility, Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Monday through Friday, 4 days per week
- 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel
Neuro experience is required. On-call requirements include weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will be an integral part of the IR team, performing high-acuity procedures in venous, arterial, and non-endovascular specialties. Procedures include:
- Angiograms and angioplasty
- Stent placements
- Neuro coiling and stroke thrombectomy
- Embolization of bleeds
- Y-90 for liver cancer
- Ablations
- Line placements for chemotherapy and hemodialysis
The IR team collaborates with interventional radiologists, neurointerventionalists, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses.
