About the role

This position supports the mission and contracting objectives of Planning, Design & Construction. Key responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring contractor compliance with State and Federal labor laws and University policies, investigating potential violations, auditing payroll records, and reporting and enforcing prevailing wage requirements on projects. Additionally, the position manages the compliance, integrity, and accessibility of a complex electronic filing system and serves as the department’s data analyst for diversity reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor contractor compliance with State and Federal labor laws and University policies
  • Investigate potential violations and audit payroll records
  • Report and enforce prevailing wage requirements on projects
  • Manage the compliance, integrity, and accessibility of a complex electronic filing system
  • Serve as the department’s data analyst for diversity reporting
  • Track spend utilization for small business, disabled veteran, and women-owned business enterprises for UCOP reporting

Requirements

Experience: 2-4 years of related experience. Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes, demonstrate strong attention to detail, use discretion and maintain confidentiality, proficient in using common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs, proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.

Qualifications

  • Degree Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Labor Agreements (PLA)

  • Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques

The position offers a competitive salary up to $85,984.00 annually, based on a variety of considerations including education, licensure and certifications, experience, and organizational needs. Pay

$65,959.92 - $93,792.96 annually (Record Anl 2 CX) or $57,691.44 - $99,305.28 annually (Project Policy Anl 2 RP)

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
