Responsibilities
- Help manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements throughout the project lifecycle
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, insurance requirements, and compliance items
- Prepare and process change orders, amendments, and supporting documentation
- Maintain organized project and contract records, including approvals and correspondence
- Support project teams with contract-related questions and documentation
- Cook up with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving
- Aid with project closeout and final documentation
- Aid with invoices, purchase orders, billing documentation, and pay applications
- Help track project budgets, commitments, and basic cost reporting
- Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements
- Maintain organized financial and project records to support reporting and audits
- Provide day-to-day support to project teams and leadership
- Maintain project files and document management systems such as Procore
- Support document control processes including RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Look for ways to improve processes and keep things running efficiently as we continue to grow
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and clear communication skills
- Working knowledge of construction contracts — or a strong interest in learning
- Basic understanding of accounting processes such as invoicing, billing, and budgets
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software is a plus
