Job Responsibilities

The Contract Administrator Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties for ISCEDC, Special Needs, and other supportive services, processing billing of all reimbursable behavioral health services or other invoiced services. Assists the Regional Contract Administrator with daily functions as assigned, that include contract writing, RBHS authorization, and missed payments and overpayment corrections in the CAPSS systems. Assists Regional Placement Teams as assigned for data entry or other administrative support. Assists statewide Transportation Team as assigned for scheduling and/or data entry for transportation services.

Processes all incoming bills and invoices, verifying that the invoice fits the information contained in the requisitions and then sending the processed invoice to the office of Finance for payment for the vendor.

Enters Emergency Placement information in CAPSS for regular and therapeutic clients for overnight/emergency placements.

As needed and assigned by the Lead Contract Administrator, conducts contract writing, RBHS authorizations, special pay and recoupment request made by the provider, authorizes Level of Care for clients in the CAPSS system.

Reviews semi-monthly payroll reports to ensure residential providers are receiving correct payments.

As needed and assigned by the Lead Contract Administrator, completes data entry and/or other administrative support for Regional Placement Teams.

As needed and assigned by the Lead Contract Administrator, schedules and/or completes data entry for Transportation Services Team.

Ensures that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, shared, and disposed. Protects the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.

Performs other related job duties as required.

Performs Red Cross Shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/service as directed.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

  • A High School Diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
